Instrument Training with Annalynn. To say I’ve been busy would be an understatement. I’m fairly engrossed in the day-to-day operations of running a flight school and doing lessons. I’m embracing it, though. I don’t have as much time to do “fun” flying adventures, but there’s no other type of flying I love more than instruction.

Annalynn and I have been flying regularly and working on her Instrument Certificate. We’re on lesson 4. Today we did a real IFR flight plan, clearance, ODP, flew in IMC, dealt with some precip and vectors, and finished with this LPV approach into Homer.

This day started in Bismarck, North Dakota and ended in Grand Prairie, Alberta at 3AM. A haul, but we pushed hard and got it done.

Canadian Authorities were thorough with our entry. All worked out, and we're cleared to go! Pressing on now into the night, with good weather ahead, as we try to reach Grand Prairie.
