Maintenance Recordkeeping

Each fractional ownership program manager must keep (using the system specified in the manual required in § 91.1025) the records specified in § 91.417(a) for the periods specified in § 91.417(b).

Research Notes

Section 91.1113Maintenance recordkeeping — requires specific maintenance records.

Required records: Aircraft inspection records, component records (engine, propeller, life-limited parts), airworthiness directive compliance, modifications and repairs, weight and balance records, and any FAA-approved deviations.

Records integration: Most fractional programs maintain electronic records management systems integrated with maintenance management software (e.g., CAMP, WinAir, Avtrak).
