No person may act as a pilot in command of a Mitsubishi MU-2B series airplane for the purpose of flight unless that person holds an airplane category and multi-engine land class rating, and has logged a minimum of 100 flight hours of PIC time in multi-engine airplanes.

Section 91.1711 — Aeronautical experience — establishes minimum experience requirements for MU-2B pilots.
Experience minimums: Specific multi-engine turbine experience required before MU-2B training. The minimums ensure pilots have the baseline skills before transitioning to the high-performance aircraft.
